Turkey and Indonesia Seek Closer Ties in High-Level Jakarta Talks

Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan has arrived in Jakarta for high-level bilateral talks with his Indonesian counterparts, signaling a deepening partnership between two of the Muslim world's most influential nations. Both countries have expressed a desire to increase their bilateral trade volume, which has seen steady growth over the last decade. Turkey's advanced defense industry has become a point of particular interest for Indonesia as it looks to modernize its military hardware.
