A fortunate error in replaying a lottery ticket unexpectedly turned into a six-figure prize for a couple from Michigan.
Sometimes, mistakes can be wonderfully profitable! That's precisely what a Michigan couple discovered when an accidental replay of the wrong Club Keno ticket led to a rather significant windfall.
According to reports, Gayle and John Gentry were enjoying a quiet evening at a restaurant in Livonia when John asked for a replay of a Keno ticket. A slight mix-up by the clerk meant he received a replay of a different, older ticket than intended. Thinking nothing of it, they continued their evening.
It wasn't until a few days later, while checking their tickets, that they realized the extent of the lucky error. The mistakenly replayed ticket hit big, netting the delighted couple a grand total of $136,660. What a delightful surprise!
The couple plans to use their unexpected winnings for some home improvements and to enjoy their retirement. It just goes to show, sometimes the universe has a fun way of delivering good news!
