    Who we are

TopHolding is published by NOVAX LLC, a Missouri limited liability company. When this policy says "we," "us," or "TopHolding," it means NOVAX LLC. You can reach us at team@topholding.org or by mail at 2248 Broadway, New York, NY 10024.

This policy explains what information we collect when you use topholding.org, why we collect it, and what you can do about it.

    The short version

We collect the minimum we need to send you what you asked for and to run a subscription business. We do not sell or rent your personal information to anyone, and we do not run advertising trackers or ad pixels on this site. We do use Google Analytics to see which articles people read — the Cookies section below explains what that means and how to opt out. Every email we send has a one-click unsubscribe link, and you can ask us to delete your information at any time.

    What we collect

Newsletter signup. If you subscribe to the free weekly brief, we store your email address and, if you give it, your first name. That is all we need to send it.

Account information. If you create an account, we store your email address and authentication details. Passwords are handled by our authentication provider and are never visible to us in readable form.

Payment information. Paid memberships are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number, expiry, or security code — those go directly to Stripe. What we store is your subscription status, plan, price, renewal date, and the customer identifier Stripe gives us, so that your account page can show you accurate billing information.

Messages you send us. If you use the contact form, we store your name, email address, and the message itself, so we can reply.

Creator and partner applications. If you apply to the partner program, we store the contact and social-account details you submit. If you are approved and onboard for payouts, your tax and banking details are collected directly by Stripe, not by us.

Usage information. We count how many times each article is opened, in aggregate, so we know which subjects our readers find useful. We also use Google Analytics, which records visits, the pages viewed, how a visitor arrived, and approximate location derived from IP address. And we keep standard server logs, which include IP addresses, for security and troubleshooting.

    How we use it

We use this information to send you the newsletter you signed up for, to run your account and subscription, to reply to messages you send us, to pay partners what they are owed, to keep the site secure, and to decide what to write about next. We do not use it for anything else.

    Who we share it with

We share information only with the service providers we need to operate, and only with what they need to do their job:

    • Stripe, for payment processing and partner payouts.
    • Brevo, for sending email.
    • Google Analytics, for measuring how the site is used.
    • Our hosting, database and authentication provider, for storing site data and running the site.

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights or someone's safety. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers.

    Cookies

Some cookies are necessary to operate the site — for example, keeping you signed in.

We also use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used. It sets its own cookies and sends usage data to Google, who process it on our behalf. We do not use it to build advertising audiences, and we do not run ad pixels or advertising cookies on this site.

If you would rather not be measured this way, Google publishes a browser opt-out add-on at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout, and most browsers let you block third-party cookies in their settings.

    Your choices

Every email we send includes a one-click unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing takes effect immediately. You can update your account details on your account page and manage or cancel a paid membership through the billing portal linked there.

You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email team@topholding.org and we will respond within 30 days. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act or the EU General Data Protection Regulation; we apply the rights described here to everyone regardless of location.

    How long we keep it

We keep newsletter and account information until you ask us to delete it or you unsubscribe. We keep payment and subscription records for as long as tax and accounting rules require.

    Children

This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has given us information, email us and we will delete it.

    Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. If the change is significant, we will say so in the newsletter.
