Emergency Responders Investigate Potential Shooting in Three Points

Emergency services responded to a potential shooting incident in the Three Points area earlier this week. Reports indicate that paramedics were dispatched to the scene to attend to a victim suffering from penetrating trauma.

According to preliminary information, first responders were instructed to maintain a standby position until deputies from the Pima County Sheriff’s Department arrived to secure the area. The delay in direct medical intervention until law enforcement cleared the scene is a standard procedure in high-risk calls where a potential threat may still be present.

Authorities have not yet released specific details regarding the identity of the victim or the circumstances that led to the reported shooting. Investigations into the incident are ongoing as law enforcement works to gather evidence and determine if a suspect is currently at large. The community is awaiting further updates as the Pima County Sheriff’s Department continues its inquiry into the event.
