UMSL Welcomes New Students at Annual Academic Kickoff Event

UMSL welcomed nearly 1,600 new students at its fourth annual kickoff event at the Touhill Performing Arts Center, marking the start of the 2026-2027 academic year.
The University of Missouri–St. Louis (UMSL) officially launched its new academic year with the fourth annual welcome event held at the Blanche M. Touhill Performing Arts Center. Nearly 1,600 new students were introduced to the campus community during the event.
The ceremony, designed to welcome the incoming class of "Tritons," focused on the variety of opportunities available for students both inside and outside the classroom.
