UMSL Welcomes New Students at Annual Academic Kickoff Event

The University of Missouri–St. Louis (UMSL) officially launched its new academic year with the fourth annual welcome event held at the Blanche M. Touhill Performing Arts Center. Nearly 1,600 new students were introduced to the campus community during the event.

The ceremony, designed to welcome the incoming class of "Tritons," focused on the variety of opportunities available for students both inside and outside the classroom. Faculty and administrators highlighted the university's commitment to providing a supportive and enriching educational environment.

The event served as an orientation to the campus culture, encouraging students to get involved in student organizations, research projects, and community engagement.
